The Yarn Barn was launched this week with an invitation last Sunday
afternoon to the church community to see this wonderful space for crafts,
and chat with Alison and Freda about ways in which it could be used. The
Yarn Barn will be open on Mondays 10-12 for demonstrations and Wednesdays
for 10-12 for lessons - so do drop round!
Kington Zero Waste Food Project
Starts Monday 1st December – Weekly on Mondays & Fridays
Every week, local businesses in Kington donate surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. We’re making it available — completely free — to anyone who wants it.
This isn’t a food bank. It’s a community effort to reduce waste.
Whether you’re passing by, feeding a family, or just fancy a loaf of bread or a bag of veg — come and take what you’ll use. No forms, no questions, no stigma.
St Mary’s Parish Hall
Fridays 10:00–12:00
Mondays 12:30–14:00
Please note: We’ll be closed on Friday 26th December for Christmas.
Let’s stop good food from being thrown away. Let’s share it instead.
